Movie Theatre in Stratford Ontario
Two rooms, and they are not the Festival. Stratford Cinemas is the regular cinema on Huron Street. The Little Prince is twelve seats on Wellington, downtown. Showtimes live on their own sites. This page does not sell a seat.
Stratford Cinemas
551 Huron Street, Stratford, ON
Independent and popular films, one building on Huron Street rather than downtown. Their site lists showtimes and ticket prices (recently about $12 adult, less for seniors, children, Tuesdays, and matinees — read the page, it moves). The box office has sold tickets by card and cash. This is not a walk from the Avon.
Parking
Huron Street is a drive or a taxi from downtown, not the Avon stroll. Use the cinema's own lot if it is open, and do not block a driveway.
The Little Prince Micro Cinema
62 Wellington Street, Stratford, ON
A 12-seat room, the company's claim as a Guinness record for the smallest purpose-built cinema, opened in Stratford in 2021. Private bookings for up to twelve, plus ticketed public screenings. Twelve seats means a hopeful walk-up is how you miss the film. Buy on their site. About 8 minutes from the Avon, about 22 from the Festival Theatre.
Parking
Downtown meters, same habit as the Avon. Twelve guests do not need a coach park. Read the street sign.
Dinner and a movie
The Little Prince is on Wellington, so eat on that street and walk. Stratford Cinemas is the other direction: eat downtown, then drive up Huron, or eat after the film. We do not book either table.

The Starlight

Dinner from late afternoon, and the kitchen stays open late. Ideal after a matinee, or after an evening show. A pre-show table only works if you are already downtown and seated early.

A sit-down downtown dinner. Give it the same clock as The Starlight: comfortable after the show, tight before an evening curtain if you are walking from the Festival Theatre.

Open late, so it is the straightforward after-show stop downtown. Fine before the Avon or Studio if you sit down with time to spare.
